SHIFU STEVE CORRALES
My Kung Fu San Soo training began in 1968 in Whittier California. I have trained and taught the art for many years and receiving my Master's 8th Degree in 2009.
I have enjoyed over twenty-five years of both training and teaching; I will continue teaching for as long as I am able to teach this fine martial art know as Kung Fu San Soo. I teach to honor our Grand Master LaoShifu, rank name, Chin Sui Dek Chinese born name, Jimmy H. Woo American name.
ABOUT
KUNG FU SAN SOO
Ancient Chinese Martial Arts written in Chinese history for over 5,000 years. Refined in Chinese temples over the last 2,000 years. Concepts were taught in the Chen family of Toi San, China for over 200 years and were brought to the United States in the 1930's by LoShiFu (Grand Master). Chen Siu Dek, a martial art of scientific principles of physics and leverage, teaches all ranges of combat from punching, kicking, throwing, locking, and striking. Attacks are aimed at sensitive areas of the body and are taught to be delivered with the entire body force. Techniques are not legal in any type of competition, but taught to elite fighting units, ideal for self-defense and physical fitness, great for stress reduction, as well as teaching different philosophies and historical Chinese terms.

Shifu Steve brought Kung Fu Pineville to Louisiana in 2019 and he's the only Shifu teaching this fine martial art known as Kung Fu San Soo. He has devoted his years in the art by continuing his Lao Shifu's family art by teaching this STREET FIGHT DEFENSE with combat type moves to students so they can protect their lives. Shifu Steve teaches the arts defense and offense moves as well as hand-to- hand combat. The training is strictly for fighting and we don't compete due to the many rules even when out in the streets there are NO rules. We teach defense against batons, knives, and guns.
